I dunno....It's the controls, they seem simpler to me... .. The lower model i don't like as it's controls seem confusing to me... I also like this one in black.. The higher end ones seem a bit more confusing as well..
Thanks for all the pics! Did they freak when you were walking around taking pictures of everything? Sometimes they get weirded out when cameras become involved.

And it's not in my utility room, damnit! But the console color still wouldn't be a perfect match to my IWL12, so I suppose that's for the best.
the cabrio...
well i see the commercial every night for the cabrio, anyways i saw some video on the cabrio can someone explain how clothes come out clean if theres only half the amount of water i mean maybe i like the "traditional" fill up with water.I dont get how anything would come out clean with half the water? im thinking it would come out with residue maybe im wrong and shouldn't judge by the look of it but i saw a review on eopinions on the cabrio and 2 people said it "leaves the clothes with residue even when using he soaps" so i mean anyone own one (im sure someone does lol) explain it to me please. i mean you would think i would understand new tech stuff becuase im young but still maybe im locked mentally in another time frame lol! give me a whirlpool like my grandma that fills up with water how you want it to and the agitator goes around and im good. maybe im just a basic person. anyone can relate out there?
The GE's have been out on the market for almost a year and you are right, not much has been said about them. I have seen a few posts about long wash times on that "other" washer website. But that's about all. Is the jury still out on these machines?
I went to Sears Home today and played with the blue LG Steam Washer a bit. It was plugged in, and our salesman didn't mind me at all trying out the spin cycle. I guess if you bought something there before they don't really mind what you do!
I have a very good video of the Cabrio working, that is currently uploading to google video... it will be posted in the morning when its finished up loading... its a very large file (340mb 4 minutes long) and its taking longer then I expected.
The Cabrio/Oasis uses "reverse rollover" to get the clothes clean. You will understand when you see the video. And I can attest to how clean the clothes come out when the machine is finished. No residue left on my clothes, just clean and fresh smelling!
