Yesterday, I went with Roger to make a short visit to Paul in Ogden.

He's working on his garage to allow more storage and to get insulation upstairs.

Here's a preview!

To say that Paul only has a couple of toys to play with would not give this man any justice.

You can see there's a definite passion there. I know I'm not the only one that's envious of all the toys that he has to play with.

Very nice collection.

Burning Question: What's that upstairs that the package of Certainteed insulation is leaning on?

---------------

That is awesome! I see so many interesting things to explore. I could probably spend days in that garage. I spy what looks like a stainless steel counter top oven...

By all means, feel free to keep us posted ;-)

Jim

Thanks everyone!! I have been taking lots of before and after pictures and I promise to post all the details. I'll probably do that once the whole job is done - I reckon we're about halfway through right now.
I'll also be posting about some duplicate and triplicate mixers that will need new homes, so don't rush out to buy a Sunbeam model 10 or 12.... LOL
Jim - thle device that the bale of insulation is leaning on is an ABC ironer (perhaps a match to my ABC washer!!)

On My Gosh Paul

All those mixers and Dishwashers, I may have to start taking Chris's side of this appliance obsession, LOL.

But seeing all your stuff makes me feel better about all the stuff I have collected, although it scares me if I were ever to retire and have MORE time to collect cool stuff.

Dave - GE is my favorite brand for sure but Westinghouse is well-represented, too!

Robert, that Frigidaire dishwasher is supposed to be a 1958 model. The folks who I bought it from were the original owners and said they purchased it in Hamilton, Ontario in 1958. It was built in Dayton, Ohio and it does look a lot like the U.S. '57 models. It was repainted turquoise - it had been white originally then was (badly) painted Harvest Gold.

Just back from VT and the trip to Paul's place with Phil

and WOW is all I can say!! It was great to see Paul again, and meet Chris. We'll need to name their place the Appliance Museum North when it is done! Loved all of those dishwashers in particular, they being one of my main faves, and that amazing collection of mixers & blenders! The original Appliance Museum, of course, being at John's place... and I definitely need to see that one next!! Thanks again for having us Paul!
