TV Land Marathon featuring "That Girl"

On TVLand.com, you can view several episodes of That Girl. Also, there is a lot of great information about the series as told by Marlo Thomas. Interesting stuff.

O.K., now if you view episode #12, there is a scene where Ann is doing laundry in her New York city apartment house basement. There are some pretty good shots of the machines, however, no clear picture of exactly what brand of washer it is. There is one clue that should help. Any ideas??

By the way, the episode was aired 11/24/66. Lots of cool NYC scenery too.

Super cool - That Girl and the laundry room scene. Looking at the clothes guard around the top of the basket and the lid shape, it almost looks Franklin'ish, or even Blackstone but the camera moves too fast.

Hmmmm... The agitator cap suggests SQ, but it is too round. The coin slide, timer mechanism and temp control are an after-thought, not part of the original design and added to a domestic machine to allow commercial use. The open back on the machine is interesting also. The lid opens back with no console to hold it up.

Very interesting...
