I'd say you're spot on with 1968 this is the one mentioned in the English Electric in house magazine I have from 1966. It's the TOL model with the 'two in one' ring at front right and simmerstat at rear left. The top oven doesn't have a variable thermostat, it's fixed at 300deg according to the advert, looks like that's the case with there only appearing to be a switch by the pilot light.

That wall colour behind it would have gone nicely in my kitchen!

The main (conventional) oven was a good baker, on my Mum's the top over had full thermostatic control but was a disaster to use, burnt everything. The simmerstat plate was not much use either as the support was slightly too small for the aperture i9n the hob so inevitably one of the supports would drop down into the drip well underneath - not the best of designs. I told my mother to buy a Tricity President or even better a Belling Classic :)
