I suppose you mean "Wäscheschleudern".
They used to be very common here, but nobody has one anymore these days. With frontloaders with a minimum spin speed of 1200rpm there is no need more. I still have a Miele one that is older than the one featured, but mine looks much better. I don't know what they did with it, but it looks heavy used or should I say not well cared for?

Im going to bid on it, ive asked to go and see it running/compare the fascia shade of grey to a spare drawer front i have for one as Im not too sure theyre the same grey 'tone', but I will probably try and win it anyway.

About 1981 or maybe 1982. Some cosmetic damage but should be repairable. Note: these are prone to leaking around the sump hose outlet.

Belling Forum

"schleudern" indeed. Not using deutsche daily leaves me forgetting proper spelling.
Seem's my Langenscheidt conversion dictionary has been missing for some time as well.
I only knew what a schleudern was from friends who were German. They owned a model railroad shop back in the 80's and 90's. The wife was from Dusseldorf, and the husband from Wisconsin originally, so I took an interest in the language.
They were a sweet elderly couple. I miss them. I used to spend hours in their shop.
We'd have coffee with other customers, and oogle over and discuss all the Marklin, Fleischmann, and Roco
model trains. I became hooked within a few months.
That group of friends helped me through a very rough relationship break up.
Having advice and compassion from an older more experienced couple who had been through the same thing taught me a lot.
Once, Delos was having some trouble with his NEC VCR channel tuning with cable, so I went to their home and showed him how to program it to the cable system.
They liquidated and retired in 1995, and sold me a lot of my collection at a deep discount.
I wanted to buy their shop, but the neighborhood was changing for worse by then.
My new better half also said no way because more online sellers would kill the hobby shops. Today, there are few left.
