This is the Whirlpool washer that my Dad bought for my Mom just before he died in 1962. We used it until 1969 when it was replaced by a Maytag Wringer Model E, because we needed to conserve water because we were on a well. I remember we used to use a dinner fork to clean the lint out of the filter brush.

I just got this exact washer from Gordon. It has a timer problem but am working on getting it repaired. Can't wait to use this machine. The brush filters were very good but not really convenient to clean.
