Re: reply #31

I have this same Mirro - Matic percolator, its the only electric perk out of my previously large collection that I kept. It is such a beautiful electric perc, and it also makes very good coffee.

Thanks Louie for posting all these wonderful windows to 20th century history. Your efforts are always appreciated by myself and I'm sure everyone else here too.

#40 Bendix DuoMatic 4 loads during a family picnic

Unless there's an automated conveyor belt to remove clothes at the end of each dry cycle and add the next load for the next wash cycle, someone still has to go from the backyard to the laundry area to remove the clean clothes and put in the next dirty load.

Re: Replies #37 and 38

The very first refrigerator that I ever remember was the Servel my parents owned and it was very much like the one in #37. And the last refrigerator we had before my Dad died in 1962 was a Westinghouse, like in #38, with the center drawer, it was coppertone.
