It’s not for drying babies and it’s not just for the clothes they wear, it’s a surprisingly compact dryer that can hold up to 8 pounds of laundry, I’ve never figured that out, and I’m not sure this would be considered part of the Thread but if you’re interested I can link the video of the dryer working

Hans, you are so right. My brothers girlfriends family had the Hotpoint, very loud. We had a GE convertible from that era and even when we built it in and added extra insulation it was still LOUD.

It looks like more of a drying cabinet. Something small like that would be a nice addition to your regular dryer.

1. How long does it take to dry a typical load?
2. Is there a fan at the bottom, along with the heating element?

yes it does have a fan, its the round disk under the cross piece and the heater is under that, ive never figured out how it holds 8 lbs so ive never done a full load, and it moves a LOT of air
