That Maytag A206 model in Reply # 58 is the one I grew up with. Ours had the cycle descriptors worn off the plastic dial just like that one does.

This thread really hits a lot of paydirt in the vintage machines department. I've very much enjoyed looking at all the ads -- thanks for finding and posting them.

The Kenmores in reply 10 are both 1972 BOL models - interesting that these were paired, as Sears didn't specifically market them this way. There were not matching mates to either. I always wondered if people buying an inexpensive set would buy both and make a pair of them - here's the answer!

The GEs in reply 57 and 59 are really cool, especially 59. For 10 bucks no less!
