My Aunt Doris had the Magnavox shown in reply #71 & #83. The last time I saw it, it was in an upstairs bedroom. Don't know what became of it after she went to assisted living, and now nursing home. Wouldn't doubt it's in storage with most of her other possessions.

VERY NICE!!!!The Hi-Fi is in remarkable condition. The link doesn't work. This must of been the model before my Mothers unit-hers was bought in the early 60's.The electronics were largely the same.I kept hers CLEAN-no dust in it-The one for sale needs cleaning BAD-the dust on the tubes will make for strange smells while its running. And will probably need recapping, switches and pots cleaned,-new stylus for the TT.Also my Moms unit had the sliding top covers.

REX - Gone but how about a Fisher President?

I know for sure it was there. What's strange...can't find any remains of it being posted! Like a ghost...swoosh! gone. How does that happen! Anyways - here's another opportunity, a Fisher President? Oh well, only SS.

Fisher President Hi-fi console-its LOADED-you have to be the President to afford it.I don't like early SS designs-a TUBED design is better.Don't know whatbrand the TT or cassette machine is.Too many unknowns in that President Hi-Fi.Esp for the price.I used to have a Sony RR tape machine similar to the one that is in the console.

Packard Bell Hi-fi-free-whats with the "X-Y" thing on the control panel?Well its free so the taker can find out.Too far for me-all of these sound interesting-except the gutted one.Do they really think I will pay ANYTHING for their GUTTED console? And what happened to the guts-why was it gutted like a caught fish?Fisher Diplomat console-4 transmitters??We could use that in the Greenville transmitter plant. From the pictures---its a HYBRID-part tube-part SS.NO THANKS!!!!Link on the Fisher Futura didn't work-for 500 bucks they can keep it.Looking at these ads is interesting but not practical for me.All beyond reach.
