Hoover 0512

Ultramatic (Louie), this little Hoov machine is a nice piece (btw, the Maytag set below is awesome - and not expensive at all). Don't know if the Hoover will find a owner. Glad to see the amazing ''coppertone'' 0512 model surfacing from time to time... This year I bought an 0510 model, counterpart to this one (think, however, that the 510--white and gray with blue control panel--is somewhat ''less rare'').

You know something Jean,

ever since I picked up a Hoover Twin Tub for a fellow member, I've been intrigued by them. One can certainly fit in my home...

Go for it Ultramatic! They are loads of fun! (Pun intended.)

As you will see though from my posts and others on this forum, it's hard to find a fully working one nowadays. The biggest weakness of the Hoover TTs it seems are their pumps... they will sieze up if they are not used on a semi-regular basis. Parts are getting harder and harder to find, but with some luck and maybe some help from others on this forum (like I had), you can find what you need and restore it to fully working condition, or you might even get lucky and find one that works great when you buy it!

Just finished a couple of loads in my 0519 Deluxe. Now to finish drying in front of my pellet stove. :-)
