Fudgy Brownies
Mine is from the mid '60s tried and true. From Carol Wright (?)
4 eggs, beaten
1c. butter
4 sq. baking chocolate
1 t. baking powder
2 t. vanilla
dash salt
1 c. Flour
2 c. sugar
2 c. nuts optional
me.t chocolate and butter in saucepan. Remove from heat, add rest of ingredients, stir well. Pour into 9x13" pan, bake at 350 for about 20 minutes
My cousin uses the exact same recipe, but uses shortening, unmelted and her's is much more cakey.
