OK, first of all....YIKES!...but having said that, this looks like something I'll have to try. I can't imagine it was a big hit, as I see very few chicken entree recipes featuring powdered, non-dairy coffee creamer these days, LOL. I don't use the product, and can't say I recall seeing Pream on the shelves of the local Hy-Vee. I suppose the plain version of any brand will do the trick.

I love trying these vintage manufacturer's recipes. Thanks for posting them, and especially for including their date of publication!
 
It's Digestible

Does anyone know why the makers of Crisco state the product is digestible. Was there a shortening before that was undigestible? Although I 've never thumbed my nose at anything made with shortening..I've always wondered why they felt the need to lable a food product with the work digestible.
