Lady Kenmore 1966-67

This one is my favorite out of all the Ladies that were introduced over the years. To the member who is in Beltsville, Maryland, remember when we were discussing Kenmores in a recent thread, and you have informed me about a Model 80/Model 800 Alphabet Set that you have recently refurbished?? Well, that remains one of my dream sets as well.

But given a choice between a 1966-67 Model 80/Model 800 Set and a 1966-67 Lady Kenmore Set, I would have to say that the 1966-67 Lady Kenmore Set would be the ultimate set to own. Now, if I can get a set like that rehabilitated, then I am DEFINITELY game.

First up is the Washer!!!!

Washer & Dryer....

If I got to have a more modern set, then it would have to be these!! These came out before the Limited Editions. Or better yet, I'll take a Limited Edition Set in Black!!!

Thank you, Louie, for the Wringer Orgy

I remember echoes of "Universal" when I was a kid, and here they are. Awesome !

And those big glass doored Wards front loaders with the 4 clocks--WOW!

So many amazing machines that even some of us old fogies haven't seen before. I really like the big fuss all the admen made when the

wringers went semi-automatic with timers. It's so funny: the Westinghouse turns off the "CURRENT" right on the dot.
