I remember echoes of "Universal" when I was a kid, and here they are. Awesome !

 

And those big glass doored Wards front loaders with the 4 clocks--WOW!

 

So many amazing machines that even some of us old fogies haven't seen before. I really like the big fuss all the admen made when the

 

wringers went semi-automatic with timers. It's so funny: the Westinghouse turns off the "CURRENT" right on the dot.

Love that ad and I remember others with similar draw. Who wouldn't want a house with a washer and dryer in a cozy spot like that, near the sunroom?
