Louis I vaguely remember an h axis washer here over 20 years ago. It was not a combo. It had a plastic top that lifted up to access a stainless basket with a trap door for loading. I want to say it was branded Eco something but that’s been a long time ago and never saw another.

Those are very nice machines! I’d love to get my hands on an A806 set, preferably in a color other than white. Harvest gold and Avocado Green have been longtime favorites of mine, as well as pink and turquoise but I know those are rather rare colors.

Thanks! I’ve been into collecting these machines my whole life. Since discovering this site it has gotten out of control. Lol! I do have a large space but there are so many machines in there now it’s not easy to maneuver in there anymore. I do have plans to get it cleaned up though.

I made a 6 hour round trip for the avocado 806 and missed them having the matching dryer by a couple of years. They said the dryer had caught fire. They told me the machines belonged to the grandmother who purchased them new.

I've been there. ... a couple of times. I started when I was about 14.

Felt like a kid in a candy store. At one point (2002) I bought another house because the house I was living in was mostly filled. Not just washers and dryers but also dishwashers, a few refrigerators, and lost of canister vacuums. Plus retro furniture and decor.

You have washer gold there.

I actually had the TOL Kitchenaid washer that matched yours, also in almond. It was a self-advancing electro-mechanical timer and the panel had a row of small (60s GE stove styled) buttons. That was 2002. I think I paid $150 for it. It worked fine and it had a green agitator.

That LK I picked up for free, in white, when I was first starting out around 1984. It worked fine but it needed a new pulley for the transmission. The odd noise is the reason the person wanted to get a new washer. I'm fairly certain it had a sudsaver. [this post was last edited: 1/8/2022-19:52]
