Janet, a dear friend, was out of town this weekend and part of this week.I took care of her animals for her while she was gone. Three Cats and two dogs. All precious ! I, along with my sister and a few friends got an Email from her today at work, asking: what did Tommy do to my animals while I was gone. These pictures were attached of her cat Neo. She said he was walking by and got totally enthralled with the washing machine. He did walk over to the dryer to see what it was doing. nothing. So then he went and got on this perch and watched the washer...........too funny.

Neo on his perch

Here is the picture of Neo on perch. Of course when Janet got Her washer I was in front of it watching it......When she saw Neo she invisioned that I had been there doing laundry teaching Neo (bad??) habits.

Cute pictures! My cat sometimes watches my Bosch front loader, and one time, she watched tennis on TV. Funny to watch her head move back and forth.

Both of my cats(Lucy and Ethel)not only watch my FriGEMore, they also swatt at the window as the clothes tumble around.I had no idea they were doing that untill one day when we had company over and I was finishing up the wash.My guests began laughing hystericaly and assumed I already knew of the cats'curiosity with my washer.I could not convince either of my guests that I had nothing to do in any type of training or instruction of my cats'interest in my washer. The funnyest part is when it begins to spin and they are surprised. They'll jump off the chair and run opposit ways as fast as they can.So funny!

Hmm!

Cats generally like to pay attention to things their humans pay attention to.

How about this interpretation: "It's big, it's noisy, it moves. Therefore it's like a dog. Except it's behind glass. Therfore it can't bite me, so I can swat at it all I like!"

Cats love front-loaders with a window! When my cat, The Swede, was still on the planet, she'd love to sit in front of my Frigidaire and watch the clothes go around, occasionally giving a shout-out for good measure. She wasn't fond of the spin cycle. Her ears would go straight back and she'd leave the room. Her litter box and food/water containers were in the laundry room, so she had ample opportunity to get to know her mechanical roommate.
