Well Let's see here

I have a new Robe which I think is my favorite gift, I feel like a rich man wearing it. I have a new shirt from Belk, a Target gift card, enough cash to buy myself a new pair of eyeglasses (which I really need, lol) an emergency light system for the house (in the event of a power failure)
A pasta/vegetable steamer, and a Delta In2ition Showerhead which I have found out unfortunately will not fit on my outlet pipe on the shower :(

It has been a fun weekend, drove down yesterday to Mom and Dad's for a delicious Christmas Eve Lunch, then back this morning to open presents, then on to lunch with my grandmother and we enjoyed the pleasure of having one of her sisters visiting from out of town join us.

Had to make it back home before that dreadful snow started, now I have to figure out how we're going to get my best friend in from the airport sunday.

A brand new Sony laptop, some new jeans (badly needed!) and something rarely seen in Alabama....A WHITE CHRISTMAS!!! It has been snowing a very wet snow most of the day. The trees, lawns, roofs, etc are looking very Christmassy. So far the roads are still passable but temps are predicted to drop below freezing overnight with expected travel problems. Guess who has to be at work at 6:15 in the morning??

Greg, I thihnk that's spoze to be a mini-basket for the Apex. You'll have to try it out next time you're at Roberts. Who knows, maybe it means the washer is around the corner and you missed noticing it in all the exictement today.

I got what i wanted for christmas. on christmas eve morning the building inspecter came over and i got the occupancy permit for my new house. Finally. All new appliances. Will download pics soon of it all.

Evergleam tree

Hi Robert
Just love that tree. Had a huge and very full silver tree in the 60's as a kid. Seven foot 100 plus branches from Sears & Roebuck. I now have one just like the one shown, 4 foot Evergleam if I'm not mistaken.

A FoodSaver with bagging material and 6 fridge/freezer containers, a Bella Cucina Rocket blender, a personalized "Bless the Ekaitis Family" cross, money (with which I treated myself to some Visions amber Pyroceram cookware and a set of OXO GoodGrips nylon utensils).

i got a samaung netbook a samsung genio touch phone ans a holmes tropicool fan in purple to go wth my turqiouse one.
the cats got a lot of catnip and toys.
and it was my neice's 1st xmas.

Cool Tri-Ang trainset. That's the make I had as a kid, still have a few pieces of it.. A CN Dayliner and a British InterCity.. The green ones with the motorized coach and a matching non motorized coach.

Santa was good to us, our old furnace was getting iffy, now all you hear is a nice soft hum and we are warm. alr2903

hotpoint 95622

Santa delivered just what I asked for, a new mobile phone and a digital tachometer.

I have already been playing with the tacho and measured the spin speed of my Hotpoint Liberator 1851/03 and it comes in at 730rpm not bad as I think it’s rated to be 750rpm.

6 sets of lights

No need for the heating on in the front room then Gary.

Well, I’m just as guilty; I put 5 sets on my tree as well.
And there proper bulbs none of this LED rubbish, I love messing with them, one bulb just has to be loos.

Everyone says when I switch on the tree lights the rest of the lights in the street dim.
