I noticed that there wasn't a thread for this subject. But do any of you buy yourselves something for the holidays?

If money was no object, I would buy Greg's laundry room...LOL

But this year....it will be a Tom-Tom.

7 trips this year, and planning more. Sure could of used it in Alexandria, Lousyana this past weekend. What a ^&%$'ed up city that is!

PS: to Jason....Went through Opelousas...I can see now why you moved LOL (j/k)

Oh, I just got myself a toy Miele Softtronic washing machine and a trip to Paris to vew Kylie Minogue in may

Dual 1006 turntable

Well, that's my Birthday present from me to me.

Since I know what I'm getting for Christmas (xbox360 and Guitar Hero II), I might take it a step up and get GH3 or Rock Band.

Hmmm

Well although I didnt buy my very early Christmas present I do have to keep him well fed, the odd Oriental Takeaway treat seems to keep him very happy :) Other than that A few treats to use in the bathroom that family members would baulk at the price are my gifts to myself. Totally love the products of Molton Brown like their Black Pepper Re Charge shower gel. Blissful Temple Tree shower gel and Old Faithful, Warming Eucalyptus body wash. Also love the Naranji hand liquid with its citrus spice scent that makes me feel good. I could spend hours in the Chester Branch opening all the bottles and tins of bath salts its just fab! Rob

Whirlpool

1) This year: Whirlpool Duet front load washer WFW9200SQS. Been wanting one ever since they first came out. Sometimes I let my wife use it. TEE HEE!

2)Always some clothes from the Haggar outlet store with gift cards/money I get for Christmas.

3) books

Refrigerator

I have to buy a new refrigerator [that's odd, don't they usually break down in summer?]. I need a side-by-side, but everything I've seen is at least a 21 cu. ft. with water and ice dispenser in the door. Don't they make simpler and smaller side-by-sides? Oh well.

Oh, Ben, sure you can--you just need to know where to look!

I got an LCD TV for Keith and me as a surprise (well, Keith was surprised, I wasn't; it was hidden in my bathroom for three days, after all!)

My other TV is a 1964 Zenith roundie which I love, but drives Keith crazy because the round screen cuts off vital information from the TV Guide channel. Being the selfish jerk I am, I also got the set so Keith can watch football while I snuggle under the covers next to him and read. So really, it's win-win!

Blowups are cheaper

LMAO Jason!
You are SO bad. You forgot to add tax title and license.

(Alexandria & Pineville had the rudiest *&'ers I have EVER met.) Gawd I never want to go back. I would rather drive in LA!

I'll look into the Garmin. I think I saw a commercial on it late last night.

Laptop (so I can scream at Vista when I fire it up!)
USB hard drive/backup
Norton Internet Security

Chuck
p.s.- I'll be tapping into all that computer know-how here to get the new lappy to emulate XP w/ SP2!!!!! I hear it has many fewer (a lot less?) problems that way!

Carol, try driving in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

TEXANS drive aggressively but nothing like you'll find in Louisiana.

Pineville is where the nut house (psychiatric facility) is so I guess that kinda explains it.
