Betty Draper....

Though we are very blessed, my life isn't exactly Betty's...

Primarily - I care for my kids and spouse - take care of the house and what not. Secondarily - I manage some residential investment property we own and have recently decided to sell.

I will say for what many in society call an "alternative lifestyle" we are very traditional. I wake up with the hubby and make his coffee and breakfast and see him off. then comes the kids - get them to school. Then try to hit the gym. After which it is home to cleaning, laundry, lawn care, desk work, cooking, schlepping kids, and on and on...It's not what I thought it would be when I agreed to stay at home, but I am glad to have an opportunity that I thought I never would and can't imagine doing anything else at this point in my life.

I retired, survived prostate cancer, and am now the office manager for my second son's internet start-up company (Hubpages.com and YieldBuild.com). I love my job. I am in the center of the photo of last month's Folsom Street Fair.

I am a LPN, i worked orthopaedics for 8 years and have the back to prove it, i worked 13 years in Case management. Im semi retired right now. Strike that , i am a homemaker right now

I work at Home Depot as a kitchen designer, before that, I was in appliance sales.. I was in heaven! Kinda wish i stayed in that dept. I still go over time to time to help out.

What a mess they have become.

The aroma in some charity/second hand stores can be a bit overwhelming. It's kind of sad when people think that just because they are donating used clothing that it doesn't need to be washed first.

Retired teacher/counselor for 35 years in Illinois. I taught English, speech,Title One Reading, psychology, vocal music, directed the plays and was Senior Class sponsor. I play the organ for church and work part time for a company that builds pipe organs.

After many years as a Loan Officer/Debt Collector I shifted gears a few years ago and am an associate for a Dual agency on Aging. Also a full-time caregiver to my 76 year old mother and five year old daughter.
