Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Yes Kevin, it is quite sad. Are you a Maytag fan?

Yes... I like the older Maytag's.... grew up with a pink 1963 or 1964 model (had a backlit console and a tub light, cool!!), otherwise not really wild about them since they introduced the Neptune front loader and their other models have gotten so generic (they no longer LOOK like a Maytag).

On that note… I'm going to create another post about a friend that had problems with his Neptune and what I did to help him with it....

I imagine that rinsability would not be very good in this disc type of machine due to the fact the clothing appears to remain wadded up in a ball.
I could just imagine a string of some kind from an article of clothing getting stuck behind one of the discs.... like when washing a riding hood.

Kevin,

That AT&T clip was sent to me by a friend who knows where I work and what I do. Suffice it to say it really hits home. And the crazy part of that little piece is that he didn't even mention the entire list of "baby bells" that were swallowed up by the swaggering SBC cowboys. It's also incorrect to show the entire country as AT&T territory since Verizon (previously known as GTE) was the largest phone company in the US up until AT&T ate Bell South less than a month ago. We also have the northwestern area of the country still being served by Qwest, which neither AT&T or Verizon wants to touch since that company is soooo messed up mangerially and financially, and a ton of small mom & pop phone companies serving rural and outlying areas all over the country. In California alone, the list of phone companies providing local exchange land line service is much longer than you might think.

not quite accurate....

Begging your pardon ahead of time, rp2813, but Verizon is not the company formerly known as GTE. It is the company that was formed from the merger of Bell Atlantic (one of the baby bells) and GTE.

Downloads from YouTube....

Well, AFAIK there are two possibilities:

- you can either search the video, after you've viewed it, somewhere in the Temporary Internet Files folder

or, which IMO is much easier

- you use mozilla Firefox and download an add-on called "VideoDownloader" (see link below) -> just click on the VideoDownloader button and you're done.
