I have a Haier 7cu ft chest freezer

that I bought in the fall of 2011 how long do you all think it will last? I bought it at HH Gregg and got for $160 because it was a discontinued model so far it has been a flawless companion to my 1957 GE Fridge but am I gonna have troubles with it soon?...PAT COFFEY

I have a Haier 5000 btu window air conditioner, and while it is 6 or so years old, it works well and puts out some cold air. It is a bit noisy, but does the job.

Like I suggested, ANY appliance I'd buy now could probably outlive me. I'm 67 and rather on the skids, it's a family trait.

While Haier is at the bottom of the price structure, it's also at the top of the volume structure. And does anyone know for a fact that 'premium' appliances like Miele do NOT contain Chinese components? Despite their astrological (sic) prices, Mieles still fail.

NO appliance line today has a steady reputation for being trouble free, like you could have expected for midline products like GE, Whirlpool or Maytag prior to ~1990. If nothing else, we can't blame China that our appliances won't use sufficient water to wash and rinse properly.

Haier twin tub

I have had my Haier twin tub for 6 or so years and it hasn't missed a beat,it only cost $399 Aus dollars, pretty good for what I paid.
