I loooove how it's listed

"Laundry Soap Detergent."

Must have gotten the memo from the Department of Redundancy Department.

Egad. Who knew? At $.99, wonder what year that was from?
If it was the 60's or later, then that's doing better than
the stock market... Of course where would one keep a few
thousand boxes of Tide safe?

Yup. Tide was it. Mom tried Axion, but we eventually
discovered that was what was causing me a skin irritation.
I was also told by someone I met whose father had a gas
station that they used Tide to clean up oil spots. Of
course that was before phosphates were removed.

$100 for a vintage box of detergent? For that money you can be sure I'd never open that box. Sad thing is that this sort of thing only fuels certain estate sale people to inflate prices for that mouldering box of detergent that has been sitting in grandmother's damp basement since D-Day.

Actually, the seller was smart to list it that way. If someone searches for "laundry soap," they find it. If they search for "laundry detergent," they find it. Successful sellers on eBay use keywords that may seem redundant, but they are what the name says: key words for searching!

If I was to list a washing machine on eBay, I'd not only put "washing machine" in the title, but the word "washer" as well (for those who may only search for "washer," as in "washer/dryer").

Just two cents worth,
Chuck

(No, I don't call it an ATM machine! That would be redundant!)

Wow!
Wish I was the owner selling that set!
Never USED????!!!! That is amazing!
Were there any pictures posted of this set? I bet it was a fantastic looking set!
