But, but, I always thought blue was for boys, pink was for girls . . .

 
years ago,about 1982,i was given a bright pink plastic portable stereo phono-the
type where the full size changer folds down into playing position.a 2nd hand shop
gave me the stereo because it didn't work or the tonearm was broken or something
(don't remember for sure)I stripped it for parts and the transformer ended up in
a peice of teenager-built apparatis that i still have;1973 date code on that
transformer...IN the picture with the stereos in the link,a '69 style '70 camaro
can be seen-"magnum 500"style wheels identify it as a '70,'69 style was built
into about feb.1970 until the all new "70 1/2"camaro started production.

I have a pink plastic portable Webcor record player from 1957. The model noted on the front is "The Midge." Attached is a picture that I found on the web.
