White Westinghouse Question

Hi Guys,

Yesterday in the middle of doing laundry the washer lost the cold water function. I thought the washer had finished the load, but when I got down the cellar it was sitting on the rinse cycle, no water coming in. I moved the timer to the wash cycle and only hot water came in. The spray rinses also did not work. I check for loose wires at the water inlet and timer. Any suggestions?

I would first check the screen that filters incoming wash and rinse water.At the end of each hose and the inner screen that is on the inlet valve right where the inlet hoses attach on to the unit.If there is anything on that filter,it can block incoming water (hot or cold) from entering.

The inlet screens are clear. I am hoping it is not a timer issue.

Next........reverse the wires on the water valve.....to rule out water valve issues or timer.....
