I realize these modification procedures do take some extra time and effort, especially when you are already hard at work in the coding and testing processes. For starters, I am focusing on the main page after one clicks on www.automaticwasher.org. Start with the entrance link for "Discuss-O-Mat Forums," and name the label as such. For quick reference assistance, use the www.htmlhelp.com site. Alt tag coding is inserted into the codes for displaying images, graphics, and the like. Suppose you have a picture of a Kenmore Washer 1966 model with Rotoswirl Agitator? An alt tag might describe this in a concise but descriptive fashion. As mentioned before, we'll keep to the main and the plain, starting with the main page. I would like to see links relabeled and reorganized in the library and museum sections to reflect better efficiency and ease of navigation. For instance, all the photos might be arranged under a "photos Gallery" main heading. All the audios and videos might be sectioned under a "Multimedia" main heading with subheadings for appliance demos, radio and television advertisements, and miscellaneous films. Another section ("Written Documentation") might be formed to display links for appliance manuals, consumer articles, and other documents. I would also like to see a link entitled "Fun Facts" in which accessible text briefs might be displayed, such as "The first automatic washer was produced by ...(in what year)." I notice a lot of picture files in the original fun section pertaining to potentially fascinating charts, facts, figures, and the like, but picture files and images of articles and the like are not readable to me. Whereas, at least some basic text articles might be helpful. Furthermore, a "Members Pages" section might provide both photo links and Youtube channels for each member of the club. Besides, if Youtube links are more space saving and efficient than adding new file download links, all the better. Main thing: modifying the current garbled link labels to clearly descriptive titles is our primary objective on the front entrance. I am not a Web design specialist by any means, but can do my best to give some guidance and direction. Therefore, I'll leave you with this much and give you a fair chance to come up with a few updates here and there, and we can then introduce a few more little tweaks along the way. I don't want to overwhelm you with a ton of stuff at once. So take your time in these few basic steps I have recommended, and we can work stuff out down the road.
