I also noticed that if you put forks and knives pointed downward they will clean well. It's also interesting to note that WP finally has a SS tall tub under their own name in the U.S. too.

When there's room, I started moving the flatware basket from the door into the right side of the lower rack before running the machine. Much fewer "rejects" than when I leave the basket in the door. No debris in the basket or on the door, either.

that is interesting and we will give it a try. We haven't had any issues with our new KM tall tub with stainless getting clean but like the idea of alternating to avoid stacking.
