Ya think its worth it?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Less Than $50?

Yep, if it's working it's definitely worth that.

If it washes for one year, you've gotten your money's worth out of it, c'mon. If it died beyond repair after that (not all that likely), it's still great for parts.

Go for it.

Plus is has that wonderful long "Automatic" button. When you deselect the Automatic button a wringer head pops out of the right side of the machine. Be careful where you are standing when you press Automatic, it can be quite painful when it pops out (if you are standing in the way). :)

I think this is the same machine that Tony's mom has. I think hers is an A308 or A208. 4 water levels and three temps. It should have a two-speed motor dictated by the cycle timer just like a Kenmore. Whatever the model...it's a great machine and washer quite well!

Automatic button ! lol.

I've seen that button before, but never had the courage to push it.
Robert, was this feature what made Maytags TOL ?
Cause I don't think other brands offered that option.

Kenny:

"Model 108. Smaller capacity, single speed. Basic washer."

Are you sure? I have a 108, and mine has only three load selector buttons to the right of the "AUTOMATIC" delete panel. This one has four.

Not challenging you, just curious if there was more than one version of the 108.

OK, I'm sure that what Robert said is true about Deselecting the automatic button. But the Dryer?
I think your just making that up.

Cause if this were the case the machines could only sit side by side with the washer on the right. But the dryer is hinged on the right. Now, how would that look?

Yep, you guys are good. But, I-II think you have underestimated the quality of the turnip truck that I came here on.
