I love my Bosch serie 6 washer. It is beautifully built, incredibly quiet not only because of the brushless motor but the pump is quiet as well. Just a brilliant machine.

I agree Whirlpolf. I would say Bosch or BSH group products are second to Miele in terms of quality. A cut above the mainstream.

If I were to buy a new washer, it would be a top loading Speed Queen. These washers actually uses water to wash instead of just a bit of water and hope for the best.
