Just a quick question friends,
what is everyone's favourite radio station if any?.
Mine is "Easy Listening 2.C.H. 1170 A.M.",I just love the easy relaxing music they play from the 50's to now.
I will very occasionally listen to 2UE or 2GB for a bit of talkback but not too often.
Cheers.
Steve.

Radio dial
FM
KBON 101.1, country/rock oldies, swamp pop, cajun. http://www.kbon.com

RED 93.7 60s-90s http://www.red937.com

Satellite (yes I have both. XM through DirecTV and Sirius in the car)
XM
50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, Sunny, Classic Rock, Boneyard (80 metal)Hank's Place (clas country), Special X (when they used to air Dr. Demento)

Sirius
50s-80s, Shuffle, Elvis Channel, Roadhouse (Clas country), Classic Vinyl, Underground Garage, Hair Nation (80s metal) Rolling Stones Channel, and a few more that I can't remember.

FM: "The LOOP" FM98 WLUP

AM: AM780 WBBM all news all the time.

I don't listen to the radio much these days, either I have my IPOD plugged in or a CD playing.
The car I have now is the first one to have a CD player in it.

BBC Radio 1 - 98.3 fm, or Galaxy 105 fm.

Worst ever has got to be both our regional radio stations - BBC Radio Lincolnshire talks non stop about farming *yawn*, and Lincs FM 102.2 is full of stupid advert jingles every 5 minutes, in between what are quite decent songs.

XM Radio...the 40's station when I'm cleaning house and making dinner (it gets me all crazy domestic)
otherwise it's Rock 99.3 WZXR "The Susquehanna Valley's Home of Rock and Roll" LOL

Mint, I listen to 99.3 when I'm going to Knoebels :-D

Jon, I'm not sure. It's one of the BBC's and it plays rock. I'll tell you next time I get in the car.

Probably Radio 1 then, if it's modern, or Radio 2 if it's a cross between modern and olden :-).

BTW - I was taking the mick with World Service. BBC World Service is a rolling news channel but in radio style :-).

I hardly listen to radio anymore and if I do it's usually in the car driving. No favourite stations, I'm a channel jumper and switch each time something comes on I don't like, can be classical, jazz, country, rock or soft rock, easy listening, I don't care so long as I like what's playing. In the house when I think about it, which aint often, I'll listen to music on one of the satellite dish channels with no commercials.

104.3, KBIG (kind of a 80s-current mix

K-earth 101 (don't know the call letters) it's more old stuff 60s and 70s

Kiss-FM (I think it's KIIS but not sure) modern

You go to Knoebels?!! Aren't you in Louisiana? That's awesome! It's a great little place to spend the day and is under an hour's drive for me. We go a lot each year, especially to play miniature golf. I LOVE that course. (I'm a miniature golf lovin' dork) And 99.3 is a good station for classic rock!

89.7

is WKSU, our excellent NPR station.

All the hits-- Prairie Home Companion, Car Talk, All Things Considered/Morning Edition......

I also listen to WKDD, forget the frequency.

I used to listen to radio a lot more, but I haven't seriously in years.

Don't recognise most of the artists in Billboard's Top 100 any more.

Jon, it's BBC Radio 1. Cool station.

Mint YES!!!! I go to Phoenix Phall Phest in October and sometimes in the beginning of the year.

The Phoenix is my #1 coaster of all.
