Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Folks...

I threw BEKO into the mix, because my mother replaced a 21yr old ASEA with one.....rebadged as Fisher and Paykel here. Fisher and Paykel do charge rather a lot of money for a machine that in the UK sells for about GBP300 (or less)...here they are well over GBP500 at recommended retail....but then a basic Miele works out at GBP1100.....

...and that's with a STRONG Aussie dollar.

These are not considered 'cheap' or 'budget' machines in our market.

Anyway, mum loves it. Our programming may be slightly different to the UKs, but the 'daily wash' is 60 minutes, 40c with a good water level for a modern machine and 3 reasonable rinses. Engage 'quick' and you get a 46 minute, 40c cycle with 2 rinses with water 2/53 or more up the door....perfect!

I am more than happy with my Dyson and have been with AEG. I think it is good to let others know of any problems that might arise with any product and no I don't see a pattern here as I have never really complained as such about my Dyson, I wanted to advise on a few issues it has. Again this is the washer forum not vacuum one so this doesn't need to be mentioned here!

FL1012 & Ultimafan,

Many thanks guys. It looks like it will be the Zanussi machine that I'll be getting. I will let U guys know how I get on when I get it :)
