    Most useless appliance addition?

Same for charcoal filters for vacuum cleaners. A HEPA filter Typically, if a vacuum has a charcoal filter, it is weither built into, or used with a HEPA filter, so you get the us of both. I still agree, the charcoal can't last longer than a couple uses before it is saturated and no longer...

    Dumb eBay shippers

As part of being allowed to sell on ebay All sellers should be required to read, and then pass a test on proper packaging. I have heard too many stories of people just throwing things in boxes with little or no material and just sending it off. It is a very irritating problem.

    Miele and Adolph Hitler

This topic caused me to research this a bit, and I did find that a company called Topf did in fact build the ovens used. Here is a link, and the paragraph that talks about it. So in fact, Miele was not involved in the oven building. I do apologize if this bothers anyone. "In 1941 Auschwitz...

    Miele and Adolph Hitler

Like all totalitarian governtments, the Nazis had controll over who made what during the war. If you didn't make the ovens, you were out of buisness (and likely dead) and someone else did make them. I guess I wouldn't hold it against them today what they were forced to do 60 years ago. And based...

What would your dream laundry appliance be like?

Even though it would be very fimsy, a TL with all clear plastic housings, cabinet, and tubs would be fun. Seeing all the parts moving inside can be very interesting.

    Killer Maytag Dishwasher (really!)

I am going to have to blame the parents, or whoever was supposed to be looking after the child. It would look to me as if someone had to put the baby in there, I can't see how it could happen any other way.
