480 SD CRT It probably helps that our SD tvs are 625 line PAL. Comparing SD on an LCD/Plasma tv to a CRT I say the CRT will always win. If only it were possible to get an HD CRT!

There are lots of reasons a fuse may blow So the machine isn't necessarily faulty, have you tried it again to see if it still works? Matt

Rather than capping the hot fill Might be worthwhile trying to get a hold of a y-piece adaptor like the one linked below. On some cycles the machine will be trying to fill from hot only and if this is capped it simply won't fill at all. Not sure about the electronics side of it, it wouldnt be...
