    Where is the warming tray??

These are genuine Hoover product. I think Hoover Co acquired some small appliance manufacturer in the 60s?

    Where is the warming tray??

They do indeed come with a tray. I bought that same model with the copper-style lid and it came complete. Those are good skillets and i love the cooking surface WITHOUT a non-stick coating.

which Mexican deterget should I buy?

Foca. Look for the phosphated version. Not the one they have at Walmart. I love the fragrance. It smells like detergent should smell.

    How to soften scratchy towels?

My vote is for less detergent and very little softener. If its towels only (no washcloths) and hot water, takes very little detergent. IMO powder seems to give a harsher towel than liquid.

I think my Maytag A806 heard me say "walk"

Also, use some kind of rust treatment on the feet to loosen them up. The machine should be nearly impossible to "shimmy" into level-ness unless your machines feet or the floor itself is not quite right.

Looking for this hoover- willing to trade some machines! :)

Mine is a very late version of the 913, thats why mine has the 918 coloring. These are only hard to push on loose or soft-padded carpet. Seen this link? And a pic you man have seen... http://www.vacuumland.org/TD/ARCHIVE/VINTAGE/2007/1630x10.htm

UGH!! my Mom is using cold water AGAIN. HELP!!!

You can work around it. A good powder like Tide or Foca is best. Load lightly so the powder gets distributed quickly. Use a longer agitation, or add a soak period.

    Sears Detergent..not so good?

Yes, I was not thrilled with it. Hard water in SA. Water had to be really warm for it to dissolve, and it did leave a harsh feeling. Perhaps in softened water (or treated with phosphate) would be satisfactory. Probably wouldnt notice if i used conditioner.

Stove Oven Range Cooktop Are all keywords that provide more hits. Don't read too much into ebay listing titles.

Tell me again how to get the stink out of colored towels?

Colored towels? I vote for warm/very warm water and a dose of borax or soda with detergent. Line drying sounds like a good idea too. I wonder, is your washload turning over well? Is your dryer drawing bad air? Are the towels being hung up or balled up after use?

    Bedsheets. For all you sindonologists

Sheets at laundromat In my experience, washateria machines are a little tricky due to the short cycle times. Yes, hot water for body oil stains. Also, be sure the machine is not loaded too heavily. Consider a strong detergent like Tide or Foca if using a toploader.
