    GE 220v Apartment Sized Dryer

There are a number of these little dryers for sale in Nova Scotia. I found a couple of these at a buy & sell I frequent, they are pretty spacious, and some of them are feature packed with normal, perma press, delicate, and air fluff cycles. I'm not too sure how I feel about it being hung from...

Never Used 1968 Whirlpool Portable Dishwasher

Jeez John, a never used machine, what luck! Looks great! How come magnetic dispensers never caught on? Seems like a brilliant idea. On another note, I always liked Whirlpools top rack idea, with the slanted tines to make the cups sit nicely up there. Slightly problematic when trying to load...

    Happy Holiday ! --- T R I O........Washing.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Darren. I love that Kenmore dryer though, very clean and new looking. Looks fresh out of the box! I just finished getting up to some Christmas washing in the Maytag and Kenmore portable.

    Single-Serve Coffee

Keurig I used to use a boiling water coffee maker/pourover/hot water drip coffeemakers and measure out the right amount of coffee until I found a Keurig machine on sale. They are expensive, but I feel they are worth it. Especially when you spend an additional $20 bucks and get the My K-Cup...

I don't think I have seen a Caloric electric before

Decent looking range and fridge. I don't think I have ever seen a Caloric before. Until now.

What is it about dishwashers and oatmeal?

It's all about the Rinse & Hold cycle baby!!! I agree, Oatmeal stuck/dried on cannot be removed by Frigidaire's two pump model. My parents have one, and every time I load/unload it I laugh at the top rack, and the poor cleaning performance on that kind of heavy soil. The GE Medallion I have...

    Daily Drivers?

My A712 and DE712 set are my daily drivers. I keep them happy by every so often giving them a nice polish with armour-all spray. Any machine well maintained & clean will last long, and I am a strong believer that keeping anything looking good (like cleaning and washing a car) makes the machine...

    1977-78 Kenmore set

Rob/rll70sman sweet set! Good job on cleaning them up too, is there nothing more satisfying than bringing something back to its original condition? I like the roto-swirl too, very neat! Is there a video in the near future?

    Pair of Maytags

Decent looking "10 series" (a very similar, but not 10 series) Tags! I believe this to be a builder model/contractor model set, the washer looks like an A882 but I cannot ident the dryer. If it is an A882, you're right, it is a large capacity Fabric-Matic model.

Interesting Washer Video I Found On Youtub

At first I was hoping for another Westinghouse ramp or straight vane video. But once I saw the empty tub, it blew my mind! I actually like this wash action, it looks like it could be very effective, but I am not to keen on it draining and washing at the same time. Neat machine! I wonder why they...

in the tv show that 70 show season 4 episode 20 class pictures before they use the avocado green may

I am with gansky1 on this, I never knew or would assume they would use appropriate appliances for flashbacks.

UH OH The set screw has chewed through the trans shaft

Thats a brilliant idea to mark on the tub where the channels are on the transmission shaft. I will have to use that when putting the machine back together! Thanks again for your help!

UH OH The set screw has chewed through the trans shaft

Hey Brian! Thanks for your advice. I have taken the "elbow grease" approach to all the hard water crap built/stuck onto the bottom of the tub. It is coming off fairly well, I have about 50% of it removed and I have only been at it for 2 hours. Yeah, two hours, whatever, in the quest of...

UH OH The set screw has chewed through the trans shaft

Oh geeze, I guess I take the cake for stupid post/question lol. Thanks for your reply. I went and looked through some other photos of transmissions and what not and that groove in the threads is there... Geesh. Woops.

UH OH The set screw has chewed through the trans shaft

So I while taking the A712 apart to replace the bearing and tub stem, I noticed something on the transmission shaft. I huge groove from the set screw eating through it. Occasionally when the washer would start to agitate, it would make a knock sound for about 3-4 seconds then go away. What is...

    Sunday's 5:00 AM Find...KDS-20

Thanks Eddie!! Yeah Brian, I agree. Non-DW safe stuff doesn't sit well with me. I like to be able to put everything in the DW, with the exception of wooden utensils of course.

The Easy That Wasn't So Easy

Great looking machine Robert! The machine doesn't look too spartan for a BOL machine. It is pretty well equipped. However, I still think it is a superb machine, and I don't want to see the TOL machines in the Easy lineup if this is a BOL LOLOL. Would you be able to post a video? Congratulations...
