Gorgeous I think the replacement hood on this particular model is worthwhile. The warped hood due to motor heat that this model was known for is very distracting. I do have to say that the ones taken at the convention with original hoods are in pretty amazing shape.

I'm sure it's great on floors and maybe even for surface pick up on carpets, but hard to believe it would deep clean well on plush carpets. And more important, it wouldn't leave uniform vacuum lines on the carpet, which any vac nut has to have.

Thought I might be able to help, as I use these often, but I am only familiar with steam cleaners for household use, as opposed to industrial. This one is is very good and more powerful than usual for household use. Good Luck in your search.
