A visit to Lightedcontrols

Yesterday was a day I've been waiting for a LOONNNGGG time. Helen and I drove to Wytheville, VA. I picked up a U-haul truck we trucked on down to the warehouse of dreams.

But before we went inside. Mark took us to his BEAUTIFUL house. Here's us standing by the front door.

Here's his small laundry room. Digital control Maytag set. I've NEVER seen a set like this before.

Back at the warehouse, we're greeted with a functioning Maytag and GE super capacity dryer.

50s Westinghouse stove

BEAUTIFUL 40" Westy stove. This is definitely a Lightedcontrols appliance. The knobs for the burners change color depending on setting, from blue to red. WOW,

Oh, and it's going in our kitchen soon.

Playing with my Astro-Sonic. I did the "Helen's fingers in her ears" test. If it's loud enough for her to stick her fingers in her ears, it's good. One twist of the Loudness control and those fingers went in. IT'S GOOD!

Well that's just wonderful Jason and what a nice trip! I know youve wanted this for a long time and it looks like a nice unit indeed! Is that your Mom's exact, or maybe a year later? Seem to recall she had the one like the POD catalog page that has a little different dials for the temp and water level.

Did you and Helen move to Tennessee?
