Scott, that's a 1972 Kenmore 800. It's not the EXACT one that I grew up with but it's close.

Everything made it just fine. The only thing that shifted in transit were the sliding doors on the console, no harm done.

Congrats on officially having a "large" appliance collection, Jason - that is so neat to see you finally get your dream Kenmore. That GE washer you brought home has a matching dryer sitting in that store in Early, Iowa. It's a neat panel design, too bad they didn't keep it.

Wow Jason - thanks for sharing all the photos! Great to see a dream machine finally resides in your home. Looks like the Maytag is an early 806 - with the Wash 'N Wear button - and did I spy a plastic tub holder in place as well? How thoughtful for the big move!

I love your Lincoln! Makes me feel old. My mom had this Town Car in a rust color, with tan leather interior. This is what I took my test in driving for my drivers license when I was 15, in New Orleans. My examiner asked me to parallel park. I looked at her and said, "you first, then I will try". She laughed, and passed me on that part of the test.
