Suspension leg that I go on about. I think these in the AEG look cheap - Maybe thats why the drum bounces about. Also on side is the noise insulation panel material again.

it is shocking !!

those suspension legs ... some of these AEGs have a 1800 rpm spin ... OMG !!!!

Aeg quality has decreased a lot ... but prices didn't . It is not uncommon to see in stores that BOL mieles are cheaper than TOL or even MOL AEGs. That's really crazy !! Damnd E'luXXX !!! :-((

BSH (Bosch/Siemens) did the same with quality, but prices are no more "mielish"

That's really sad .... old AEGs Bosch and Siemens had a quality level close to mieles

Here a vintage, tank built, drop down LAVAMAT REGINA (thanks Louis).
If this was a queen ( = regina ), todays lavamats are no more noble ...

I reckon if I take the top of the Westinghouse it is going to look the same as the Privileg. It was bought in 2006, though I know it was made in 2005. The key difference being the position of the dial and option buttons. Ours are the reverse.

I've just had a conversation at work as one of the ladies 6yr old Whirlpool has leaky bearings. She has been quoted AUD$450 (GBP216, E247 USD$351) to get it fixed. I have an Electrolux badged Zanussi Jetsystem machine in a rental that is 4yrs old (all push button style) that I am considering selling her...

BUT...would I be better off with it here and giving her the Westinghouse? I love the cycle flexibility on the Westinghouse, but know the Electrolux whilst older, has done no work...

Thoughts?

that's really crazy

AEG has always had higher quality standards than Zanussi.
Now Zanussi washers do have better suspensions than Aegs

@ Chris : I'd stay with the one-dial programming of the WestingZan. Just turn the knob to choose both cycle & temp and go, no mistake is possible

IMHO I find these push button Zanussi Input machines a bit unpratical in case of hurry. If default time/temp/spin settings for a certain cycle don't match your needs, you have to modify them one by one ... not the best when one is in a hurry.
Not a case, after them Zanussi went back to one dial sys (Time Manager series)

I never had an issue with the cycle changes...but I do like the cycles on my machine more...there is more variety especially with the 30min 3kg 30c quick

Ok...questions answered...
