I did two loads today in my red Affinity. The first load was a bit too damp so I rest it on drain and spin. It did fine. I did a second load and went to detail my new Ford 10 seater van. I went to remove the load and it too was too wet. I reset the drain and spin again but, this time, the pump came on,then went off. It never did spin and I called to get service. Charlie, the seller from Smith's said to let it rest a while and restart it. I did that and it still won't keep the pump running. He'll be out Tuesday to repair or replace the pump. Anyone else had this happen???

Just FYI

Charlie is bringing me another Affinity to use while this one gets repaired. We have a great friendship and I send him lots of business.

I have the 2007 model and when I had that problem there was a something in the pump!! It took almost 2weeks for a service man to come talking about pissed off!! I was mad as hell.

repair

Charlie picked it up earlier today leaving me another one to use in its place until the red one's fixed.
if it was not under warranty,I'd have fixed it myself but,it's covered fully until December. He also left me a 2008 Amana 24 bottom mount freezer unit in white that has a ding on the left side.I plugged it in around 4 hours ago ant the ice cubes are already frozen solid. The frig temp is 34F and the freezer temp is -17F.!I need to find a gas range for a local friend here. He's keeping me posted on what he finds. So far,no luck.
