Air Glide Dolly - Anyone ever use one?

Well...

we have those at the hospital called a hovermat to move very large patients easily.  It's just the size of the hospital bed and remains under the patient.  when time to move them, hook it up and turn it on.  Can almost move them one handed!

We use them. They actually work pretty well. It alows our techs to be able to slide out 36" and 48" ranges.

I work for Whirlpool Factory Certified Care and I have an Airsled in my van, it looks very similar to the Airglide, I have been using it for over 25 years and it can lift and move a stacked Duet washer filled with water and a dryer on the top with no effort at all. Recently I used it to move a 48" built in KitchenAid refrigerator with a broken wheel on a wood floor with no damage at all. It was expensive when it was purchased, but considering saving your back, an extra man and elimination of damage, it paid for itself over the years. Also, the model that I have has a vacuum made by Metropolitan vacuum called the Vac N Blo, I use it almost every day to vacuum lint from dryers and under refrigerators. I use some blocks under a 48" JennAir pro range to fill the space and it moves it out with no effort.

I was going to say it worked the same way as the Hovermats we use at work... askolover beat me to it.. they are great !!!! you have to move a 350lb pt they just slide right over.... if not careful you could end up with a pt on the floor they move so well............
