I Remember That Set!
Congrats on finally getting them home and the washer up and running. Cannot believe the seller held them for almost a year for you, did he/she charge for storage? *LOL*
Thank you for telling the story of how the set sat MIB and unused for almost, what was it, 30 years? Story is kind of sad though, a man buys a washer and dryer, keeps going to the laundromat then dies without ever hooking them up. Tragic, tragic.
My only concern about using these sets as a daily driver would be the availablity of spare parts. But considering these poor machines have been warming the bench for over 30 years, perhaps just it is time to put them in coach, they are ready to play!
