Add to drawer.... will it flush out?

P&G seem to have problems lately with Daz, Bold, Fairy leaving powder in the drawer. Not the machine either. Happens on 3 different ones I know of.
Pauls Mums Indepoint,
the old Indesit
The new Hottie.

Yes it flushed!

Wash ended 6 minutes ago, not had chance to snap any pics due to housemates decding to do a spot of cooking. Typical really isnt it but I just went back to the machine and discovered the items didnt feel particularly well rinsed so re set it for final rinse with super rinse selected.

Water was clear in the rinse and low amounts of foam on top.

Machine has just gone into spin and now there is soapy foam cascading down the door bowl. Unsure as to if its residue from the SR????

God knows. Not a product id particularly buy. Stain removal is no better than what a wash win Ariel powder would of achieved first time.

Well.......

I bought the "whitening" version of this......have tried it 3 times with a full load of white towels and 25 mls of Ariel Exel gel and on each occasion have got massive suds lock, one time the suds came out of the dispenser which has NEVER happened in my Miele before. I agree with Rob, not a product I would buy again as you can get the same results with Ariel powder. Just wish the powder smelled the same as the stain remover!!!!

I was wondering...

...if it is possible to use it entirely on its own: i.e. used as an ultra-concentrated detergent?

As to the foaming issues, I have had this with Vanish powder and Ace liquid.

Callum,

I had about the same idea so gave it a whirl. Cant say I would want to bother again.

Just started up a load of work shirts and added 30 mls of the powder, watched the machine tumble a few times then chickened out as there was no suds and nothing to suggest anything may be clean. Water was cloudy by all means but didnt feel particularly soapy when I opened the door to inspect.

I would of left the machine to its own devices but the fact the water didnt feel soapy I doubt it would of gotten the grease stain out from yesterdays lucnh off one of the t shirts so I lobbed in half a cap of Daz 2X liquid.

Expecting suds lock later and re setting for rinsing though desopite the small load.

Mother bought some the other day

tried it out myself today.

Cleans well, no better than ariel alone.

BUT

took 6 deep rinses to get the water clear, and even then there was loads of like zeolite-foam.

The smell is really something else though!

Matt

gentle tumbles in the heating stage. 40deg Acrylics.

Few suds due to the addition of Daz on top of the water. I can rest in peace for a while.

i've found that using ariel gel alone wasn't shifting tough stains on the baby's clothes and other items, but when i added the ariel stain remover and washed on 40c it worked a treat! smells great too!
