I had that machine
I had that, well very similar from 1994! It was great and very intresting to watch. I loved the program selectors.
Unfortunately it blew up after a few weeks and my mother decided to go for a Bauknecht (very good too). I have an interior pic from the brochure which I'll post when I get home.

A strange thing with this machine, is the spinspeed! On the typeplate on mine, and on the detergent drawer on the 20004, it stands that it has 1500rpm, but in the display, you can get it all the way from 600, to 1600rpm! It's the same with the 20002! It's really sad that the el.boards is impossible to get now... I'm hoping that my machine will last for many more years! Lovely machine!!

I have a UK Hotpoint MicroProfile 1300 from 1986. It has the same oddity - its controls list max spin speeds of 1300rpm, but the luminescent display shows a bargraph and numbers up to 1400 rpm. It is very rare here as Hotpoints weren't sold in this country. I don't think much of it though.
My daily washer is an Asko 12004 from 1992. I have two good ones and two for spare parts. I have modified it for use on solar power, it is exceptionally energy efficient. The heating element is disconnected, and the thermostat controls the fill temperature instead. For the wash it fills with hot water until the selected temp is reached, then it adds both hot and cold water. the 12004 spins at 900 or 1400 rpm. It uses a very clever motor, made by Siemens, which combines both induction and brush motor on one shaft, it cleverly uses the same windings for both functions. This means it uses only 200 watts when washing and under 600 watts when spinning at 1400 rpm, which is very good for a 1990s machine. It also seems very robustly made, though it is getting rattly now on spin.

great machine
I used a machine very similar to this which was made by asko , it was an electrolux wascator WE48 it had a pointer on the far left and a programme selector next to it, it was a fun machine to watch, the wash is very splashy

I have just clicked you are the one with the great Zanker vids. A friend of mine had an AEG princess and it was great.
Back to Asko - I loved this machine although I have to say the induction motor wasn't that quiet. It's not unlike the noise of some of the super silent Hotpoint's made today (excluding the Aqualtis which is very quiet).

My 12004 looks identical to your 11004, except mine has the drop down front door.
I got my machines a few years ago from the recycle centre. They had been thrown out by the importer as "warranty rejects" - machines they had not been able to fix under warranty. Several components had been removed/replaced, I could tell by loose screws and the motors were not bolted in place. In one the timer was removed and inside the drum ,and a spare timer was on the ground near the machine. I bought two for $15 each, intending to make one good one. I checked the machines and both had the same symptom - it would do everything properly except spin - no spin. I was very lucky to find the fault which was the same in both machines - there are two pressure switches in these machines, both connected to one hose through a plastic Y-piece. Both machines has a small blockage of soap or residue in the Y-piece, which stopped one pressure switch from resetting after pump out, so the machine "thought" it still had water inside and would refuse to spin. I cleaned out the hoses and both machines have worked well, though not without some fixes, for several years. I gave one machine to a friend, he used it a couple of years, then it stopped spinning. I investigated it several times and could not find the fault, I gave him another machine to use and stuck the Asko in my shed for a couple of years till I had time to really investigate. It turned out to have TWO faults - bad contact in 900/1400 spin switch, and a bad motor. I had replaced each component separately, it only worked after I replaced BOTH components. I am currently using that machine but I will change back to my own machine as it runs quieter.
After I initially fixed the two machines, I went back to buy a couple more, as some more had been dumped by the same importer. At the time they were only a few years old - maye 2 or 3?? Hi Tim, have had my set for 5 years now...gosh, how time flys!!!love them, sturdy, reliable, simple to use and all the programmes you`ll need...just want to change the neons to the Kool Blue of the 9800 series...LOl

Timon90, yes that was similar to the Electrolux that i used apart from it was brown not yellow and it had two buttons at the side of the programme selector, i think it was door open and start, it was a really good machine, it was used for the hotel laundry for laundering bath mats, dressing gowns, and teatowels for the kitchen, was a good machine, it was a cold fill only machine, heated up internally, a 60 degree wash only took 45 minutes, it cleaned really well too
