Asko Asea

Hi Louis

The ones above are the first ASKO ASEA models that I sold while working at an independant retailer in Manchester in the 80`s, also the small drum top loader with the cabinet suspension, I always promised myself that I would have a set then...

The older top loader has the solid washer look, especially with the SS top,

Some info....

I have an Elto 16000. The same as the Asko Cylinda 16002. Nice machine. I grew up with one wich was indetical, but my mother gave it away to a work college. But I got one now right before Christmas. Perfect working order.

I'm not sure with the ting about the names... But to the summer, I'll try to take a trip to the Asko factory. Then I'll make some research.

Cylinda sold many of their machines here named as Electra, Elto and Cylinda. First in the 90's they came just as Cylinda/Asko Cylinda. In ca 92 the Cylinda name was gone here. From there it was just Asko. Except a few machines wich was bought of Siemens, and then named Gaggenau. The Gaggenau's came in rostfree, w/black panel. I'm waiting for one right now. It was the same as the 20004.
