No kidding, Dior Farenheit and Axe Peace have a bit of a tire shop, gasoline or what might even be described a WD-40 scent note among many other notes.
What I find a bit amusing is the obsession about different scents for each gender.
Pierre Bourdon (a famous Perfumer), who, when once asked what is the difference between a women`s and a men`s scent, replied, "Pour Homme" written on a bottle.
How very true... as long as fragrance industry says it`s "for men" the bulk of men swallow it no matter how much vanilla, lily of the valley and rose notes, as found in many contemporary men`s colognes, is in the mix.
