Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

85% and 90% do not make any difference. The 90% looks better on the mac than it does on the PC, where as the 100% looks better on the pc and worse on the mac. lol

Robert i see a big difference on my pc, everytime i go to this site which is a hundred times a day lol... I have to up the font once sometimes twice it looks so nice now thank you !

Point size don't make no difference to me; if I don't like the size, I can just hit a command+ or command- to change it.

I've been in the typesetting industry for over 30 years, but I'm not going to start nitpicking details!

Robert, looks great. I tested it at screen rez's up to 1600x1200 and it's still completely clear.

It looks terrible here on IE8 on WinXP, like a bad variant of the default Font that Safari uses

Has the default font changed to a Mac only font that isnt available natively in Windows?

It might look better on Windows 7 at home.

It Looks...

"It looks terrible here on IE8 on WinXP, like a bad variant of the default Font that Safari uses"

It looks exactly like this screen cap on my computer, too - XP with Firefox 3.5.7.

Robert, I'm not sure what this second change was, but the font and everything looks beautiful now on my Mac. The large font was a bit too much for me.

I've been curious to find out what changes you've made to the site mechanicals. Would be interested to know what type of database format you went with. .Net?

Ben

Robert, is it possible to stick with percentages instead of fixed point sizes? Using fixed sizes disables the font size increase/decrease functions on many or most systems.

Pete, first of all what browser are you using?

2nd would you be able to do a side by side screen shot like Jeff did above? You can email me the shots if you don't know how by pressing the print screen button (which puts the page in memory) and pasting it into a paint program, saving the file.

:'D

Just checking the " ' " I use him ' for my smile face ;'D Looks like he's working fine, thanks.

But right now, I'm not smiling. Laughing my butt off at Pete's hilarious glasses, instead.

Anyone else notice that the backgrounds are missing (for the brand, agitator, etc.)?

The wallpaper backgrounds are only suppose to show up in the Imperial and Deluxe forums.

I've noticed the following:

(Mac OS 10.4.11; Safari 3.1.2; Firefox 3.5.7)

Using Firefox, there remains a red box around the forum banner that dissappears only when you select another forum (see picture)

Observation #2:

In Firefox there is a blue edge around the member pictures (see picture), whereas this is not the case in Safari.

Update: the red box in observation #1 is now gone. It now only appears when I click on the banner and doesn't remain when I return to the Discus-O-Mat screen from one of the forums.
