And is it marked like this one? It came from Classic Kitchens and More, and when it arrived, the first thing I noticed was the VISION (not VISIONS) logo in an oblong border. The inset in the closeup is a still-frame from a Crown Corning (UK) TV spot for VISION cookware, which they now call VISIONS in the UK as well. If it was made for the UK market, it has a story to tell of how it came to York, PA. I already know how it got from Pennsylvania to sunny SoCal. :)

The link takes you to the TV spot.

Oh, and not that anyone asked, but the NEW stuff is labeled "VISIONS MADE IN FRANCE" (no reference to Corning).

Yes, we have one almost like that in perfect condition. The only difference between yours and ours is that it says "Visions" and below that "Corning USA". We bought ours around 1988 or so.

We only use it for making Dutch Apple pancakes. Everything else we try to fry in it sticks to the pan and ends up being a mess. We've used oil, butter, etc to act as a lubricant on the pan, but everything just sticks like hell. Except our dutch apple pancakes. Oh, and Karen said it is way too heavy for what it is.

I once got my crazy sister a complete set of Visions cookware for Christmas one year. Instead of returning it to me, she immediately put it in a garage sale. She said it was way to heavy for her to use.
