wow that machine looks way too complicated to operate! First you have to hit the OFF button before you turn the dial, then you have to make sure to pullup the dial before you turn it. Then the dial is way on the honking left side of the machine and the display is way on the honking right of the machine. You'd need to be a contortionist with Barnum and Bailey to operate this machine.

THEN the softener dispenser is a teeny tiny hole ontop of the spiralator. You'd have to fill it with an eye dropper!!

Wow this is got to be the most inconvenient automatic I've seen to date!!

I want one!

HARD

*Gary administers a Hard Slap in the appropiate place* there thats better now stop tinkering and go and make me some tea :-) whilst we discuss your huge and lovely collection of beautiful washers, that the likes of us Brits never got anything like over here.

Everytime a new machine is unearthed in the states and shown on this site i am gobsmacked buy it,s beauty and how it reflects what America was in those halcyon days, (shades of "The graduate" come to mind)

Right thats me pieces sed

if you ever need any help in the HARD department dont be shy about asking :-)

Ben

That Mrs Robinson was no good to you anyway Ben she was a washaholic

Canadian Styling:

I've always had a soft spot for Canadian things. They look very much like American stuff, but there's always a twist that lets you know they were made for another country with its own tastes and preferences. Those Inglises are absolutely familiar in terms of what they are and how they work, but they don't look quite like anything made here.

Take a look at this Canadian car - a '68 Beaumont. Looks very familiar to us Americans, because it's based on our Chevelle, but it's not American at all - and for my money, it's better-looking than the American version:
