Electrolux Diswasher EIDW6105 Series with Flashing Controls

Does anyone have a service manual for one of these Dishwashers? The controls up top just keep blinking and are not able to be reset by turning off the power to the machine. It will run the eco-cycle after getting the machine to run a cancel cycle but will not run any other cycle. After the eco-cycle, the lights will go back to flashing if any other cycle tries to run. The cycle will not run thru to the end and the dishes are not cleaned. The detergent door opens and the water circulates but then it errors out again.
This seems to be a common problem according to what people have said in various forums but none offer any clue as to its cause. It fills and heats and drains in the eco-cycle but like I said, that cycle only runs after playing with all the buttons and running a cancel cycle first.
I will have to check again to see if there is actually a sequence to the flashing since there is no display on the machine to show an actual error.
In the meantime, any advice will be appreciated.

Bruce,

try tripping the circuit breaker to the dishwasher off for a minute, then back on.
If the board does not reset, then try closing the door, to power it up, then hold the cancel drain button for at least one 30 seconds to one minute.
If no dice, the board is faulty. It's fairly common.
My mother in law spent a lot on her FrigiLux frige, range, and DW and has had several problems.
Yes, they are up level Canadian, and Mexican made Frigidaires.

Tried the usual

The first thing I did was cut the power at the breaker to no avail, then unplugged it from the outlet not that that would really be any different from turning off the breaker, But I figured, why not give it another try. Still the blinking lights. That was when I tried the cancel button and then got it to do the Eco-cycle. But alas, it still messes up.

Like I mentioned above, the machine fills to the proper level at each fill, drains completely at each drain and heats the water.

I will have to observe the flashing to see if it has an actual sequence to equate to the error codes in the owners guide for the machines with a display.

Yes,

my old Whirlpool was stuck on Normal cycle for two years until we replaced it, but it was already 10 years old.
Good luck! trouble codes can be a bear to decipher.

I looked at an Elux DW at lowes that was made in China.  And it wasn't cheap.

not in our Lowe's

No Elux products to be found. All seem to be special order items. I never noticed where the machine above was made but it did have excellent build quality and weighed a lot more than anything made here in America.
But no way would I recommend someone buying one of these dishwashers. performance was less than stellar.
